Network Engineer (Cairo, Egypt)
Functional Area:
Local Area Networks & WAN Administrator and all related components including routers, switches, firewalls (Cisco based)
Position Summary:
As a LAN and WAN Administrator and all related components including routers, switches, firewalls,
, you will be required to implement, support and manage an enterprise-level network. This includes all aspects of regular network maintenance, end-user desktop support and troubleshooting.
Position Responsibilities:
* Implementation of all core LAN and WAN components.
* Manage and maintain implemented network and all lease line
* Provide user support with software and hardware troubleshooting
Required Experience:
* Minimum of 3 years’ experience in CISCO-based enterprise networks
* Strong communication and organization skills.
* Problem solving skills are a must
* Be able to produce technical reports
* Certifications such as CCNA, ASA firewalls and CCNP
Additional Responsibilities
Position Responsibilities:
* Secure the implementation of the Microsoft/Cisco LAN and WAN
* Implement patches, updates and all security related fixes on all networking components
* Follow up on world-wide security releases, statements and known issues
* Produce network security summary reports
