Description —Work within a tight-deadline with frequently changing priorities. —Constantly coding PHP / JOOMLA front-ends and infrastructure. —Strengthen and upgrade current technical team —Utilize open-source technologies heavily.
Qualifications •4+ years of solid PHP experience (PHP 4 and 5) with strong OO design and programming experience) •2+ years of JOOMLA development and administration skills •Good knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript (JQuery and AJAX are must) including cross-browser and platform coding requirements in HTML •Understanding of UI/UX design •Experience of object oriented programming / modular programming (essential) •Understanding of MVC design patterns and frameworks (essential) •Experience working in a team development setting, using source code control •Solid Experience in Software Design concepts and patterns •Extensive experience in building PHP and MySQL applications. •Excellent debugging, profiling and optimization experience •Ability to interface with existing APIs (i.e. Google Maps, Twitter API, DIGG API) •Good Knowledge of Web 2.0 Trends, SOAP, RSS and XML feeds and Web Services Experience in •Open source frameworks. •Good Knowledge of system analysis and design
