Description Responsible for developing and Implementing the project test plans. Analyze architecture and product requirements in order to develop effective testing strategies that encompass black box and automated testing. Evaluates, maintains and improves Testing roles and responsibilities within the product development life-cycle. Responsible for functional duties assigned by direct manager. Facilitates the development, implementation and adherence of testing department standards in partnership with Engineering Process Group (EPG). Evaluates and implements training and development needs for team. Manages team compliance with existing measures for reporting testing efforts. Assess project risks and work with project stakeholders to define and implement mitigation plans. Create and execute black box, automated, and performance tests with a focus on improving test coverage. Create and execute security tests using any of automated tools. Provide quality metrics/reports at key project milestones. Provide effective communication regarding issues and QC objectives to Quality Manager and project stakeholders. Mentor team members: assist in test plan reviews, provide process and troubleshooting guidance. Participate effectively in the Process Improvement Projects with cooperation of the Engineering Process Group (EPG).
Qualifications B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience is required. 4+ years of software testing experience is required. Wide Knowledge of the Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI)

Other Skills Experience testing web and client/server applications. Visual Studio Team System knowledge. Must be proficient in SQL.
