Description — Directs, selects, interviews, trains, evaluates, assigns, and supervises all materials and tunnel operations personnel in all activities related to pickup, loading/unloading, storage, shipment, and delivery of (stored/stocked/or maintained) goods, materials, and other university property throughout the campus. — Coordinates and supervises receipt and shipment of all materials and goods consigned to F&O warehouses — Develops new and/or improved methods for optimum efficiency and cost control — Daily reports trip-monthly report related to business material of SCM, and prepares periodic reports as required. — Assures that Safety, fire safety, and security rules and regulations are followed within F&O stock operations and tunnel areas, and maintain cleanliness and order. — Participates in all major University events — Sound knowledge of accounting, storage, record keeping, inventory methods, and procedures of purchasing for university operations, manage and follow up the execution of job orders according to AUC tunnel policies. — Planning the schedule and follow up the execution of regular and emergency Maintenance needed for tunnel fleet. — Set up logistic procurement of tunnel fleet requirements, negotiate prices with car and maintenance agencies regarding AUC fleet renewal and maintenance — Ability to cope with numerous interruptions, daily contact with faculty, department chairs, administrators, and various other University, and community.
Qualifications Minimum education requirement: Bachelor degree of Engineering (preferably Mechanical or civil Engineering) or equivalent. Experience: Minimum eight in the field of car pool management, transportation services preferably in educational institution or multinational companies.
