Director of Marketing
The Director of Marketing forms part of the Hotel Leadership team who collectively make key strategic and operational decisions for the Hotel or Resort. The Director oversees all marketing activitieswith the support of teams including sales, catering, reservations, advertising, and public relations for the Hotel and ensures that all activities and bookingsare focused to yield maximum revenue per room occupied.
Requirements
We are looking for individuals who are strategic, proactiveand who have a proven track record in both sales and marketing. Applicants need to evidence strong revenue and budget management skills, have acreative flair for marketing, have good communication and interpersonal skillsand demonstrate effective leadership.
Applicants are required to have three to five yearsprevious employment in a related position. Marketing or HospitalityEducation is preferable, however, not essential if applicants have previous relevant work experience.
Regular travel is required with this role.
