Description —Responsible for the planning and administration of activities directed at ensuring the health and safety of employees and compliance with applicable legal and corporate health, safety and environmental regulations/requirements. —Coordinates and collaborates all departments to assure that all EHS requirements are enforced by management and employees. —Develop, implement and administer health, safety and environmental procedures to ensure compliance with corporate policies, to include, the Emergency Response & Loss Prevention, Fire Safety, Lock Out/Tag Out, Industrial Hygiene, confined space, work at heights, etc. —Lead the investigation of all incidents, including near misses, illnesses, and compiles reports based on inspections, observations and investigations. —Support team in ensuring implementation of the training plan for newly hires & all levels of personnel on EHS matters, with a specific attention to particularly hazardous tasks. —Take part in acting as a constant advisor on the field for any problems related to EHS for all personnel.
Qualifications •Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science. •Minimum 3 years practical experience in EHS, at least 1 year as a supervisor. •NEBOSH General Certificate will be an advantage. •Familiar with OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001 management systems. •Strong analytical and project management skills. •Excellent presentation and computer skills.
