Job description

Novo Nordisk Egypt has a challenging opening for the position of Sales Director in Novo Nordisk Egypt, based in Cairo. As Sales Director, you will be a member of the affiliate Management Team and you will report to the General Manager.

About the department
You will be part of the management team and you will report to the General Manager. You will be responsible for Sales for the Diabetes business in Egypt.

The job
You will be responsible for the development and implementation of the sales strategy by ensuring alignment of company strategy. You will lead the sales function by setting targets, closely monitor performance for each area, conduct periodic reviews to ensure targets are achieved and business growth is at acceptable level and take corrective actions if required. You will need to create sales forecast, reports and sales budgets and manage the approved budget by ensuring effective utilization of available resources. You will need to collaborate and maintain strong internal communication with other functions to ensure smooth implementation of business strategy. You will need to build opportunities for direct reports to suggest, participate in and contribute to improvement, innovation and knowledge sharing initiatives. You will be responsible for the development of people by creating opportunities for skills development of the sales organisation.
Last but not least, you will lead, develop and maximise the potential of Sales Team, representing Novo Nordisk’s Vision, Values and Commitments.
Desired Skills and Experience
Qualifications
You hold a Business or Medical related degree. MBA will be considered as an asset. You have at least 2 years’ experience in a in a similar position and 5+ years of solid experience in sales operations at managerial level. We expect you to have a strong experience in the pharmaceutical business. It is important to have People management experience and to be fluent in written and spoken English.

Further requirements
Field work – 30 to 40%
