Job Description
§ Provide decisive and effective technical leadership for all product development
efforts
§ Work together with the product owner to plan and execute projects, ensure that
the teams have appropriate product and technical specifications, direction and
resources to deliver products effectively by establishing realistic estimates for
timelines while ensuring that projects remain on target to meet deadlines
§ Work closely with the product owner for understanding the system’s functional
and non-functional requirements and define the product vision
§ Effectively apply agile methodology
§ Design and implement the needed software development processes
§ Overview the development process from requirement gathering to writing
documentations
§ Help employees resolve both technical problems as well as human resources
issues
§ Monitor individual employees’ performance
§ Provide leadership and guidance to coach, motivate and lead team members
to their optimum performance
Job Requirements
§ Must have excellent and effective oral and written Arabic and English
communication skills to speak with both technical and non-technical personnel
§ Must have at least 2 years’ experience in the capacity of managing a team of
technical employees and 5 years’ experience as a developer
§ Must be detail oriented
§ Solid understanding of the requirements engineering process and discipline
§ Solid understanding of Software Development Life Cycles, user
interface/interaction design
§ Ability to decompose broad strategic initiatives to tactical execution plans and
artifacts
§ Experience in documenting business requirements, use cases, activity diagrams,
UML& Structured
§ Analysis
§ Experience with Agile Software development techniques is a must
§ Strong leadership, project management skills, time management, and problem
solving skills
§ Experience using open source systems
§ Understanding of basic Linux administration is a plus
§ Knowledge of PHP, JAVA and MySQL is a plus
