Description Improve event scheduling and service delivery system that encompasses the client needs, the space availability, the support staff availability, any rehearsals or setup needs and integrate it with or replace the Office of University Events scheduling system. Manage staff work and time-off schedules to comply with AUC policies, Egypts labor laws, while keeping overtime under control and to a minimum. Supervise and oversee event, video conference and IPTV operations and services Assist end-users in quality-of-service issues when necessary or when requested by the Director of CTMS Conduct the annual evaluation of reporting staff Participate in strategic planning Develop, implement and supervise a travel and training program for staff Develop and implement a system to gather service statistics and present a bi-weekly reports to the Director. Prepare the annual budget and monthly spending reports Liaise with other AUC service department and external clients and vendors Assist in the planning and identification of new services and projects Other related tasks as assigned by the Director of CTMS
Qualifications • Education: o Successful completion of post-secondary, four-year degree; ideally in technical field. (Masters degree preferred) • Experience: o At least five years in a technical support or service role o At least three years of management experience

Other Skills o Special abilities required (interpersonal, analytical, computer skills etc…) o Superior interpersonal communication skills o Project management experience o Ability to multi-task o Ability to work well with other service departments on and off campus o Excellent managerial skills o Knowledge and understanding of the technical terminology used by event support, video conference support and IPTV support services
