Description You are to be the RMGS Performance Tester. You are to test performance of, and automate performance tests of, our diverse product family and technology library. Primary Roles and Responsibilities: Set up the performance test environment Reproduce performance use cases Automate performance test use cases Test performance
Qualifications Over 3 years in direct hands-on coding, testing, and test automation. Performance optimization – youve used performance testing tools such as Jmeter, Jprofiler, Test Complete. Software engineering – you should know the current software development practices and tools, including: o Virtual environments o Source control o Remote development o Issue tracking o Build and test automation o Networking management General coding and scripting – you know Java, C++, .Net, or maybe all three, and you understand programming well enough to quickly learn new languages and scripting. Differentiated capability – meaning, what everyone else can’t do, you can. Non-technical qualifications: Excellent and effective communication skills. Speak English. Write English. Not just barely, but capably enough to “talk technical”. Ability to work and thrive in a physically disperse team environment. Flexible working hours.
