Hindawi Publishing Corporation is seeking to hire Reviewers, Copy-editors, a Training Specialist and a PR Specialist as follows:
- Reviewers, responsible for reviewing translated documents as well as books and making sure that they are perfectly translated in terms of grammar, meaning, context, etc., with the following qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in any field preferably in translation field.
2. 4- 10 years of experience in the translation/revision field.
3. Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Arabic languages.
4. Excellent knowledge of both Arabic and English linguistics.
5. Excellent computer and typing skills.
6. Very good knowledge of translation techniques.
7. Accuracy, concentration, ability to work under pressure, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Copy-editors, responsible for reviewing and editing scientific papers in terms of grammar, syntax, punctuation, spelling, and style, with the following qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree.
2. Excellent command of written English.
3. Very good computer skills.
4. Accurate, well organized, and attentive to detail.
5. Ability to check the correctness of grammar, syntax, punctuation, spelling, and style conformity.
- A Training Specialist, responsible for developing, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating the annual training plan after conducting training needs assessment using different tools, with the following qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in any field.
2. Very good command of both written and spoken English.
3. 2 years of related experience.
4. HR Certificate is a plus.
5. Very good computer skills.
6. Ability to work under pressure, very good communication skills, very good presentation skills, problem solving, and attention to details.
- A PR Specialist, responsible for communicating with the Travel Agencies and Hotels on behalf of the Corporation, with the following qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in any field.
2. Very good command of both written and spoken English.
3. At least one year of experience as a PR Specialist in a travel agency.
4. Ability to work under pressure, very good communication skills, very good presentation skills, problem solving, and ability to meet deadlines.
