A Multimedia and graphic designer works closely with engineers and product managers throughout all stages of the product cycle, as a UI designer you are a critical thinker with a good design sense, a strong technical background, and an eye for making things better. Graphic Designers produce design solutions to communicate client messages with high visual impact.
Graphic design solutions are required for huge variety of products and activities such as websites, advertising, books, magazines, posters, and corporate communications and corporate identity

JOB PURPOSE
Prepares visual presentations by designing art and copy layout

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Interpreting the client’s business needs and developing a concept to suit their purpose as well as preparing illustrations or rough sketches of material, discussing them with clients
and/or supervisors and making necessary changes.
Developing design briefs by gathering information and data through research.
Collect and present inspirational material from which design concepts would be derived.
Thinking creatively to produce new ideas and concepts.
Proofreading to produce accurate and high-quality work.
Keeping abreast of emerging technologies in new media, particularly design programs such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.)
Illustrates concept by designing rough layout of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type and style, and related aesthetic concepts, based on knowledge of layout principles and esthetic design concepts.
Develop graphics and layouts for product illustrations, company logos, and Internet websites.
User Interface and User Experience related responsibilities like creating and/or reviewing user roles, user stories, application wireframes, interaction scenarios, user interface animations and sounds.
Design for limited screen real estate and mobile devices
Use of state-of-the-art online collaboration tools

QUALIFICATIONS
A bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field
At least 1 year experience in the field
Demonstrated understanding of visual and user interface design disciplines and
principles such as: Typography and layout rules, Color theory, Document Hierarchy, Navigation structure, Wireframes, Design prototyping, Acquire experience in branding and in designing high quality graphic communication.

REQUIRED SKILLS
have basic HTML and CSS skills, understand usability engineering, creativity, problem solving skills, accuracy and attention to detail, being open to feedback and willing to make changes to the designs (handles rejection), team worker, acute vision, flexibility, customer focus, layout skills, deadline-oriented, excellent communication, networking and presentation skills.
