Description 1. Participate in Requirement gathering process. 2. Reviewing requirements, business objectives and technical specifications, with developers, business people (sometimes Client) and other QC engineers for consistency and accuracy to make sure they are well-documents and achieved. 3. Creating, maintaining, and executing test plans and test cases against any required hardware and software platforms. 4. Evaluating assignments and their requirements and estimating time-frame for executing test plans. 5. Analyzing and communicating test results through reports and stand-up meetings with projects team and Project Managers. 6. Tracking route-cases of defects, reporting them and assuring that they are solved. 7. Executing day-to-day QC activities such as stand-up meetings, progress reports and testing. 8. Participating in the development of established test processes, methodologies and techniques. 9. Working closely with other departmental staff to achieve QC team objectives, and Project objectives.
Qualifications 1. B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Computer Science or Engineering. 2. Minimum 3 years of experience (1 of them at least in programming) 3. Experience in testing Mobile applications and web-based systems is a must. 4. Experience with all phases of software testing (Functional, Integration, Regression, User Acceptance, and Release Management). 5. In-depth knowledge of test planning, test case creation and test case execution. 6. Experience with Requirements Reviews with developers (and possibly other QC engineers), and other stakeholders such as project managers and/or product owners 7. Solid knowledge with software technologies including: HTML, XML, JS, and .NET 8. Experience in testing web services and desktop-based systems is a plus. 9. Solid experience with MS SQL databases and MS SQL scripting is a plus. 10. Knowledge of Team Foundation Server (TFS) is a plus. 11. Knowledge of Agile development lifecycles and how they pertain to Quality Control needs is a plus.
