Focal point of the planning and resource management of Tahrir Academy (www.tahriracademy.org)
Scope of work:
Tahrir Academy is an online collaborative learning platform. The project has complex processes consisting of different production lines, mini-projects, many stakeholders and challenging targets. Therefore, there is a great need to have a member of the team whose entire focus is on planning and whether or not we are meeting our targets and KPIs.
The Project Manager provides the planning and management needed by Tahrir Academy to guarantee the smooth operation, sustainability, maintenance, and support of its various components. He/She also helps in researching ways in improving effectiveness and efficient use of the projects.
Through this opportunity, your role will be of key importance to allow the operations of Tahrir Academy to streamline and scale up. You'll be able to contribute directly and indirectly to the growth and success of Tahrir Academy, through your crisp understanding of the tools used and fanatical support and guidance you provide, as well as the close interaction with Tahrir Academy's constituents and peers.
The crux of the role is to act as the reliable and dependable hero who's always there whenever help is needed.
Job Description:
Creating, following up on and supervising the overall project plan including research and development, production and marketing; all in accordance with the project vision and strategyDocumenting projects’ procedures and processes and supervise streamlining them into ongoing operationsImplementing and smoothing the operations of the organization's internal and external projects from a planning and resource management standpointAssist in evaluating suitability of various tools for implementation in the organization and other peer organizations
Job Requirements:
Very Good command of computers, operating systems is a must
Comfort using internet applications, and various desktop software
Good command of English and Arabic language
Ability to create, analyze and review processes to improve projects’ ROI and sustainability
Ability to effectively and efficiently communicate and report information in written format, in both Arabic and English languages
Team Player
High attention to deal and a high degree of organization
Quick learner, and can pick-up new tools quickly
4 to 6 years of professional experience, with at least one year of project management experience
