Description Claims Processing —Ensure timely and accurate processing of all claims —Ensure adherence to departmental SLAs. —Proactive management of the pending claims pipeline and communication —Ensure all standard business processes are simple, robust, efficient and scalable —Legal adherence and Best Practice —Ensure the legality of procedures governing claims processing —Take a leading role in the monthly internal audit of underwriting and prepare the report to the Insurance Risk Committee —Raise any shortcomings in underwriting discovered at the claims stage at the relevant company risk forum. Group Underwriting —Ensure group unit rates and issuance terms reflect portfolio characteristics, portfolio history and company experience. Management & Deputation —Underwriting and Claims staff will be required to switch to or assist the other department from time to time in order to accommodate workflow in periods of peak business activity and/or broaden their business knowledge and exposure to both areas. —Act as deputy for the Claims manager during periods of absence
Qualifications Bachelor degree, preferably in Medical Sciences or Business Administration Full understanding of Egyptian insurance law pertaining to insurance claims Wide network of underwriting and medical contacts Minimum 4 years of experience in the field of insurance claims or underwriting Excellent English language skills, both written and oral Proficient user of MS Office applications Numerate Supervisory and mentoring skills
