Description     1.Greet customers and conduct a brief company orientation. 2.Describing the products benefits and special offers. 3.Giving advice about how these may benefit customers personally . 4.Persuading customers to accept a trial inspection or a visit from a sales representative . 5.Gathering and documenting information about the customer . 6.Entering notes into a computer, including dates for follow up calls. 7.Generating sales lead. 8.Usually achieving targets for number of calls to be made or sales leads to be achieved within a set period.
