HR Generalist
Responsible for all human resource activities for the company. Provide advice, assistance and follow-up on company policies, procedures, and documentation.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Human Resource Function
• Responsible for all human resource activities to include employment, compensation, labor relations, benefits
• Develop and maintain human resource data bases, computer software systems, and manual filing systems
• Keeps employee records up-to-date by processing employee status changes in timely fashion.
• Processes personnel action forms and assures proper approvals; disseminates approved forms.
• Maintains budget spreadsheet that includes salaries, and payroll taxes.
• Prepares paperwork required to place employee on payroll and establishes personnel file.
• Assists in hiring process by coordinating job posting on Web site, reviewing resumes, performing telephone interviews and reference checks.
• Manage to implement the controls of the policies and procedures to guarantee that employees are adhered to them.
• Maintains Employee Handbook with updated resolutions and other pertinent information, as needed.
• Portrait and characterize required job descriptions to suit both company needs and employment market availability.
• Periodically revise job descriptions to ensure their properness to job requirements.
• Conduct job analysis for existing and new jobs to ensure employees full awareness of their job duties, rights and responsibilities.
• Develop and maintain an updated org. chart, in accordance with the hiring report.
• Issue an update monthly HR Related reports “Hiring, Resignation, Turnover, Change of Status, Budget …etc.”
• Assists in performance evaluation program and revises as necessary
Qualification Requirements:
Education and Work Experience
- Minimum of three (3) years of job-related experience, preferably in a human resource department.
Knowledge and Skills
• Proficiency in or knowledge of using a variety of computer software applications, especially Excel and Microsoft Word software.
• High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations and documentation.
• Attention to detail, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines.
• Good to excellent spelling, grammar and written communication skills.
• Excellent telephone and oral communication skills.
• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
