Senior Investment Analyst
Job Description:
To support the overall investment management plan of the operations and the finance functions of the hotel and food & beverage divisions of a large private Group.
Will work the analyst with a small head office team whilst directing financial support functions at the existing business units
Job Outline:
Reporting to the Chief Investment Officer (CIO)
Responsible for preparing valuation analysis for existing and future assets and conducting financial feasibility studies of developments, joint venture and acquisition opportunities; evaluating output and making recommendations.
Tasks will include the following:
Review business development needs to achieve proper structure for sustainable growth and profitability
Track and evaluation of investment opportunities
Assist CIO to ensure proper financial planning in all operations including consolidation of plans
Analyze cost requirements for business units to enable proper cash flow planning and assist operating units to better manage their financial plan
The successful candidate will be able to provide concise and relevant reports for use by key stakeholders, assist the CIO in identification of KPI’s and establish dashboards for divisions and report against them; as well as provide regular cash flow and head office reporting.
Desired Skills & Experience:
Minimum of 3 years experience in accounting with background in Business modeling /accounting /finance / analysis area
University Degree in accounting or related fields is preferred
Excellent communication skills
Business acumen and good knowledge of hotel operations is preferred
Fluency in English is essential and Arabic fluency is preferred
Self motivated individual with high degree of enthusiasm
High proficiency in excel
