Job Title: Training and Development Specialist
Analyze, design, develop, conduct and evaluate training and development initiatives to support the learning and performance needs of employees in Medical insurance business objectives. Ensure all learning and development opportunities are in alignment with business vision and goals.
The job activities:
· Performed by these professionals often include training development, procurement, assessment and delivery.
·Assess training needs through surveys in the medical insurance, focus groups, or consultation with managers, instructors, or customer representatives.
·Attend meetings or seminars to obtain information for use in training programs or to inform management of training program status.
· Develop alternative training methods if expected improvements are not seen.
·Evaluate training materials prepared by instructors, such as outlines, text, or handouts.
·Keep up with developments in area of expertise by new features.
·Support their primary purpose, which is implementing training initiatives, plans, strategies and processes that help an organization reach its goals
·Work with employees to strengthen their skills and prepare them for advanced positions or develop individualized training programs for future leaders who aspire to climb the ladder in an organization.
· Specific duties may include designing curriculum and course content, and responding to development requests.
·By analyzing requests, needs and gaps of the Clients
·Additional duties of training and development specialists often include facilitating training programs, developing guides and materials for participants, monitoring systems and processes, and measuring success.
·They may also act as training coaches, teaching other personnel to facilitate training classes.
