Description Assist in the planning and organization of special events and/or lectures, under the direction of the director. Responsible for arranging all event logistics. Responsible for the coordination and timely processing of collateral material needed for events and/or lectures. Production and maintenance of the Office of University Events mailing database Responsible for the electronic RSVP system offered as a service by the Office of University Events to the AUC Community. Provide professional guidance for university offices and departments on events held on campus and for organizing campus tours, as directed by the director. Conduct tours of the campus for groups/individuals, as assigned by director. Point person for the Student Ambassador Program which is a group of thirty students selected to provide campus tours to VIP guests, donors, alumni and the public; in addition, serve as hosts and assist during major special events hosted by the university in community outreach efforts. Coordinating the recruitment process of the students for the AUC Ambassador Program at the end of each academic year. Undergoing training for 30 student ambassadors. Maintain all financial transactions for student ambassadors and submit final payment to the director for processing of payment. Responsible for updating and maintaining the Conference and Visitor Center website. Assist in venue reservations and production of reservation reports.
Qualifications Minimum education requirement: BA required Experience: Five or more years work experience in related field
