Description - Actively solicit cargo on behalf of company principals - Responsible for meeting booking targets as agreed with commercial manager. - Responsible for handling all sales activity related to clients. - Maintain current clients by providing accurate and timely replies to all customer enquiries including rate quotations, service/schedule information, and any other services - Develop a regular client base and maintain close contact with major clients through regular telephone calls and sales visits - Provide management with updates regarding changes in competitor activity and market changes - Perform market research and competition analysis as requested by management - Negotiate with principals to obtain the required rates to secure business opportunities providing they do not undercut prevailing market rates - Ensure that all IT systems within the domain of work are used and maintained properly as required by the company and the Principle - Submit a weekly sales activity plan and sales activity report as well as weekly and monthly perfromance report. - Maintain an organized filing system for all documents relevant to the area of activities.
Qualifications - University Level Degree - Min. 2 years experience in RoRo/LoLo Liner Sales. - Sales and negotiations skills - Fluent English, both written and spoken. - Ability to work independently and systematically - Able to meet deadlines through good time management and allocation of priorities - Excellent knowledge in PC Software
