Description *Opening the safe along with the store manager as per the safe key matrix. *Safe inventory and checks to be carried on daily basis *Check the cashiers DSR of the previous day and recount the cash in side of each cashier box along with the proper attached documentation (signed credit card slips ” redeemed credit notes ” gift vouchers). *Ensure handing over the shop cash to the delegated persons authorized by the agency as per the circular coming from the Finance Department. *Collect the deposit slip to be attached with the DSR for sending to the Finance department towards the necessary review and records. *Pretty Cash *The chief cashier should ensure maintaining properly the safe documentation and records *Chief cashier responsible to handle the cashiers the unusual transactions i.e. Hold, Void, Discount, Change Price, and Refund that mainly requires overwrite key by the cashier and the same to be done within his own presence ensuring proper documentation and tracking of the same as per the company policy. *Act all the time as role model in all aspects of the job role. *Scheduling cashier Rota as per the work requirements ensuring full man power operating the tills on shift basis. *Do cashier spot check on regular basis i.e. at least twice per week on random basis. *Handle customer service issues and problems in liaise with the store /mall manager as per the company policy.
Qualifications *University degree in any discipline, faculty of commerce major accounting preferable *4-6 Years in cash handling ( Retail organization ) *High level of honesty and *integrity *Basic accounting knowledge of credit card transaction operations *Communication skills *Proactiveness and flexibility *CusCurrency; denominations / elementary product knowledge *Numerical Ability
