Description 1. Monitors compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and company procedures. 2. Reviews, investigates, and corrects errors and inconsistencies in financial entries, documents, and reports. 3. Assures compliance with federal, state, local and corporate policies, regulations and laws. 4. Reviews accounts payables and weekly check runs. 5. Determines proper handling of financial transactions and approves transactions within designated limits. 6. ompiles and analyzes financial information to prepare entries to general ledger accounts, cost centers and documents business transactions. 7. Responsible for distributing financial statements and cost center reports. 8. Prepares work papers and supporting schedules for the annual financial review. 9. Staff management and development. 10. Distributes monthly comparison reports and cost center reports according to schedules. 11. Prepares financial statements and other reports to summarize and interpret current and projected company financial position. 12. Analyze transactional processes and identify areas where additional accuracies and efficiencies can be achieved. 13. Closely maintains and monitors the fixed assets system. 14. Adheres to internal and external deadlines. 15. Applies cost accounting methods to achieve accurate representation of cost center performance.
Qualifications Proven leadership and management ability in the areas of strategic financial planning and organizational development • Ability to devise and implement strategic plans, staff development and the management of change • Experience of financial responsibility for a budget, end of year accounts and external liaison with auditors • Strong in oral communication and in writing. Clear analytical thinking to produce simple clear financial reports. Capability to simplify and clarify complex business information • A strong leader with the proven track record of developing a strong team • At Least Bachelor in Finance from American University of Cairo • Experience in manufacturing is a must • Experience with a blue chip multinational companies
