Description Utilize responsive design techniques to allow maximum user experience and conversion by ensuring that content can be easily interacted with, on any device. Strengthens & modifies business solutions by designing and supporting development of a platform used in connection with retail services& serving the travel domain. Reviews, assesses and influences ongoing basis designs, standards and methods for solutions development. Conducts responsive design approach to ensure that site is crafted to provide an optimal viewing experience and maximum conversion rates (including but not limited to ensuring easy reading, where navigation is with a minimum of resizing, panning, and scrolling, across a wide range of devices from desktop computer monitors to mobile phones). Works with the product, design and development teams to scope, implement, test, maintain, and develop new functionality. Performs Front end (Razor, XHTML, AJAX, CSS, jQuery) and some backend (C#.Net)
Qualifications Bachelor Degree from a reputable university / institute, preferably Computer Science, Commerce, Business Administration or Tourism. Post graduate studies are considered as asset. (3-7) years of working experience in a similar or related field. Experience with mobile applications, smart phones, tablets applications is highly valued as an asset. Technical / IT Skills: Very good knowledge & experience with Microsoft Asp.Net & C# programming language, in addition to the web technologies of XML & XSLT, AJAX, XHTML, java script & CSS Good knowledge & experience with database SQL server, Microsoft Razor & HTML5 web technology Fair Knowledge of MySQL database & the web technologies of WCAG,design patterns, system architecture, MVC architecture & entity framework. Knowledge of Java programming " preferable to be working knowledge", is valued as asset
