Job Description

The Senior Project Officer (SPO) is required to enable Global Publishing Services (GPS) in meeting client standards and expectations through effective project management, timely resolution of issues and continuous process improvement. The role supports the PO(s) and lays emphasis on ensuring a high quality of work by consistently taking responsibilities for one's own work, reviewing it against quality standards and consistently seeking to achieve zero quality errors.
To ensure positive business impact, the SPO is required to deliver work that follow content and design guidelines in accordance with department guidelines, compliance regulations, policies and procedures and industry best practices. Onus lies on understanding and applying them correctly, reviewing work methodologically, collaborating with colleagues and seeking advice from seniors when necessary.
The SPO should be able to maintain regular MI reports for clients and management as necessary to enable effective monitoring and improvement of production metrics. Maintaining a steady improvement in one’s skills and capabilities through collaborative work and taking up in-house cross training opportunities is imperative. The SPO is also expected to assist the direct Line Manager (LM) in developing their annual and quarterly development / training plan.

Skills Required

3 – 5 years of experience in a project management role; possibly in a marketing communications or agency environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines
Structured and systematic working style
Efficient problem solving capability
Ability to work as a part of a team
Ability to maintain composure and professionalism in a fast-paced work atmosphere
Flexibility to work over time on weekdays and weekends if necessary
Flexibility to work in shifts on a 24/7 basis
