Description Manage USAID funded multimillion cohort budget supporting cohort activities, conferences, study abroad and retreats that meet both Student Affairs and US Federal Government Standards and Procedures Develop strategic outreach and recruitment plans for new cohorts Manage the development, implementation and evaluation of USAID funded student programs and promotes the personal development of a diverse student cohort. Conduct training, coaching, advising and mentoring of LEAD cohort on and off campus Strategically develop semester/ annual work plans that meet USAID program goals and objectives Curriculum development integrating the components of academic excellence, community service and leadership development Monitor and guide the implementation of the annual student-led conference Utilize different evaluation tools to assess, evaluate and interpret student needs and trends to develop a range of student services and activities Develop networks with university departments, faculty, senior government officials, and local and international NGOs and multinational corporations (e.g. OCI) Monitor and evaluate student academic and leadership performance using GPA and LPI (a tool developed to measure the leadership and community service development of students using certain rubrics) Develop quarterly and annual technical USAID progress reports Supervise assistant student life coordinator and part time help
Qualifications Minimum education requirement: Bachelor degree in Humanities or Social Sciences (preferably in Psychology or Developmental field). Master’s degree in youth development or human rights and gender issues from U.S./U.K. institutions preferred

Other Skills • Expertise in youth leadership development and scholarship management with 5 + years of experience in multinational organizations and NGOs and/or USAID funded programs eg. AMIDEAST, IIE,etc. • Excellent management skills and communication skills (verbal and written) • Excellent analytical skills • Strong advising, coaching and mentoring skills • Strong networking skills • Strong computer skills
