Description Manages the daily calendar for line manager and coordinates scheduled appointments. Screens incoming calls and correspondence and responds independently when possible. Maintains awareness of relevant University policies and procedures. Arranges for occasional events including facilities and catering, announcements and invitations within the assigned budget. Prepares meeting agendas and arranges for minutes and documentation. Assists in the compilation of policy papers and University documents. Monitors budgetary position for expenditures falling within the responsibility of the Office. Maintains and develops an updated filing system and database. Prepares confidential correspondence and reports.
Qualifications Five years experience in a secretarial job, in support of a senior manager. Experience in an education organisation would be of benefit.
