Description Provide day-to-day technical and functional expertise to end-users. - Administering and managing Backup process and tap handling. Administrating and managing Antivirus for end users. - Process service requests in regards and keep end-users informed about their incidents status at agreed intervals. - Follow up with end users regarding the open tickets, and to update customer regularly. - Follow up with other support groups regarding the tickets submitted related to BP Egypt end users. - Following up notification on daily basis (UPS, APC, backup, etc) and take the right actions. - Write technical articles and sample programs for knowledge base.
Qualifications Experience as IT support role predominantly supporting Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office suite applications. – IT Technical support experience 3-5 years. – Experience in call registering systems. – High communication and personal skills. – Very good command of English (Written/ spoken). – Previous experience working in a global and/or remote support environment, raising incidents in an incident management system (Remedy or similar) and escalating urgent issues. – Knowledge of basic IT concepts in the following areas; • LAN & WAN basic troubleshooting • MS Servers and infrastructure troubleshooting • Microsoft Windows XP workstation / Win7 • Microsoft Office Suite • TCP/IP protocol suite • Microsoft Outlook support experience, and Email client configuration and troubleshooting. • Internet Explorer - Available to travel within Egypt equal or more than 50%. -
