Description Conduct daily EHSinspections of job sites, tools and equipments, and review site activities for potential environmental health and safety hazards Coordinate site environmental health and safety activities with the contractor and sub-contractor Support EHS team in conducting programs to improve the environmental health and safety culture through public safety campaigns or any other activities Be responsible for the training of newly hires & all levels of personnel on EHS matters Participate in the investigation of all incidents Prepare reports based on inspections, observations and investigations with recommending measures and methods Take action & report immediately to the EHS supervisor in case of dangerous actions and situations Act as a constant advisor on the field for any problems related to EHS for all personnel Participate on the toolbox meeting held by the contractors and sub-contractors Support in conducting Mock drills on a periodic basis and follow-up on completion of observers findings Verify on daily basis the correct use of Personal Protective Equipments (PPE)s by all personnel Ensure that the fire fighting and EHS equipments are regularly inspected and maintained Monitor proper housekeeping and cleaning of the working area Play a key role in maintaining OHS&E records and other administration issues related to the respective business units
Qualifications Minimum education requirement: Possesses a Bachelors/College Degree, or equivalent Experience: Minimum 2 years in relevant work environment Skills: • English proficiency AUC level: Lower Intermediate 40% to 60% • Knowledge in relevant fields such as EHS work • Good in speaking and writing in English and Arabic • Computer skills: MS Word, Excel, and Power Point
