Description 1.Development for approved projects: -Conducts line trials and experiments -Reviews experimental data and technical based hypotheses in making decisions/ recommendations -Demonstrate clear linkage between technical knowledge and application -Assesses technical feasibility -Learns to develop gum formulations and helps trains junior colleagues on the same -Inputs to business proposition any technical risks 2.Commercialization for approved projects (Shared accountability with other functions) -Develops all Technical Product Documentation (Specification Work Books). This includes Formula, Detailed Manufacturing Procedure, Process transformation diagrams, Finished product Specifications, HACCP Documents, and Raw material specifications. -Supports Process Commissioning in the plant from OQ through to Ramp Up with main involvement in Commercialization and PQ phases. -Participates in Production start-up meeting -Conducts transfer of technology to Operations personnel -Participates in post project reviews 3. Troubleshooting / Efficiency Enhancements with advanced agreement with R&D Department Manager Provides technical support to Operations in 2 areas: 1) Troubleshooting (short term) - Provides timely and accurate technical information and/or testing to resolve operational and/or quality issues 2) Productivity (long term) - Develops and communicate supporting technical data and recommendations for increased operational efficiency.
Qualifications University Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial) or Chemical Engineering. Applicants must have 5-7 years of experience in a Food Manufacturing FMCG.
