Description — Monitoring servers and network devices, solving any incident or problem related to the servers or network — Working as 2nd line support — setup and maintain servers and network devices — purchasing new equipments and dealing with different vendors — specify the technical specifications for the required equipments and devices, — Managing system infrastructure — Preparing disaster recovery plan and procedures for the applications, data and servers — Managing all the Systems Servers (AD, DC, DNS, DHCP, ISA, Anti Virus, etc‡‡) — Data Security and continuity — Data Backup — Make sure to follow the IT process and the COPC guidelines — Responsible for the audit and work with the audit team — Respond to users Tickets and requests — Make sure to follow the IT process and the COPC guidelines — Technical training sessions for the team and users if needed — Creating the needed reports ,documents and manuals as needed
Qualifications • Configuration, setup, operation of windows XP, Vista • Configuration, setup, operation of windows2003, 2008 • SQL server 2000/2005/2008 administration • LAN, WAN troubleshooting • Good analytical skills for troubleshooting various applications • Antivirus and antispyware software (Client-Server) • Develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures providing documentation. • Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs • Perform daily backup operations, ensuring all required file systems and system data are successfully backed up to the appropriate media, recovery tapes or disks are created. • Expert knowledge with AD, DNS, DHCP, group policy. • Expert knowledge with ISA, Exchange servers •• MCSE is a must • BSC of engineering or computer science
