Description Price negotiations. Cost Savings Initiatives (Annual Price Review, VA/VE, etc.) o Help lead Annual Price Review negotiations with existing suppliers for cost reductions. o Help lead VA/VE activities with new/existing suppliers and cross functional groups to drive cost savings Issue, collect, negotiate and analyze RFQs for new/existing materials/suppliers. PO maintenance. Supporting Commodity Strategy Development. Supporting Corporate Purchasing weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual goals & objectives. Supporting each Manufacturing Companies annual cost savings targets for Purchasing. Support sourcing & new program launch activities with new/existing suppliers/materials. Work with cross functional groups to aid/assist in new material development efforts. Communicate with company regarding global raw material strategies. Analyze and work with 3rd party indexes to aid in understanding and forecasting market trends Flexible in visiting different mines and quarries of different local Raw material suppliers Aware about different types of ceramics or glazes or glass raw materials. Have a good knowledge about local and foreign Raw material supplier. SAP background and experience
Qualifications SAP background and experience. Ability to drive + Driving License. Flexibility
