Description — configure, install, maintain and support hardware, software and related infrastructure. — ensure that an organizations infrastructure computing platforms--including network segments, data storage and archive, servers, middleware and web systems, service-oriented architectures, databases, mainframes, personal computers, mobility devices and their underlying software--work properly together. — conduct technical research, make recommendations for system upgrades, — manage system changes, respond to user-reported problems and implement security controls to protect the integrity of the core infrastructure. — — Troubleshooting IT systems when there is an issue reported by computer users. — Performing a check to make sure all systems are working fine and up to date. — Administering the creation, operation, modification, and deletion of username and passwords of employees in the system. — Implementing security software and tools to ensure maximum security from outside threats. — Carrying out data backups and administration. — Installing and maintaining software updates periodically.
Qualifications Minimum of bachelors degree in information science • 3 years’ experience with Microsoft environment • Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) for server systems • Cisco Certified Network Associate for network equipment is a plus.
