New role! Senior Legal Counsel – Global Communications / I.T company – Beirut – Ref 3696
McKenzie Douglas works with the majority of major communications and technology companies across the Middle East.
An exciting new opportunity now exists with one of the biggest and best known communications companies in the world. This role will take responsibility for legal and compliance matters across the sub-region therefore demands applicants have experience gained within the TMT / ICT industries within MEA, and are familiar with local business practices, regulations and legislation. In addition you will ideally have compliance / regulatory experience, a strong track record in cultivating successful business relationships and leading high worth negotiations. For consideration it is essential you fulfil the following criteria –
• A lawyer qualified in a Western or Middle Eastern jurisdiction
• Between 5 and 10 years of relevant national or international experience gained in the TMT industries
• A proven track record in big-ticket projects and high-worth negotiations
• Business fluent English is mandatory with other languages including Arabic being desirable but not essential
• Good networking ability and great social skills including the ability to handle internal contacts, external counsel and counter parties.
• Good negotiation skills.
