Description Job Statement: Achieves maximum sales profitability and growth by effectively selling the companys products and/or related services Main responsibilities-Retail Sales Representative Job Description 1. Assisting customers in the complete purchasing process inside the store 2. Maintain shelf excellence. 3. Clean display cases, shelves, and aisles; ensuring cleanliness of the store at all times. 4. Provide customers with the correct product information and availability when necessary; recommending the most suitable item as per the customers need. 5. Assist in the packaging and delivery service of all Gourmet orders and requests at all times; whether client is in the store or via the call center 6. Handle customer comments and inquires; report as per Gourmet standard 7. Maintain Stocks and track shelves, racks, cases, bins, and tables with new or transferred merchandise. 8. Educate store personnel on upcoming new items, promotions, and category initiatives 9. Educate store personnel in the area of Retail Availability and removing lock-down of high-profit items. 10. Complete in-store surveys as required. 11. Gain and maintain competitive, consistent product pricing, when opportunity allows. 12. Observe and report in-store competitive product/promotional activity. 13. Understands and uses technology as required to meet job expectations 14. Observe and report in-store competitive product/promotional activity.
Qualifications 1. Demonstrated superior skills in selling techniques and handling objections. 2. Ability to identify and pursue sales opportunities 3. Strong communication skills with a demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. 4. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with team members, peers, management and external customer contacts. 5. Demonstrated follow-through skills, persistence and willingness to accept direction. 6. Strong time management and prioritization skills to deliver cycle coverage requirements. 7. Ability to lift/carry cases of product and displays up to 40lbs. 8. Strong Excel, PowerPoint skills.
