Description —Plans, executes and follow up development tasks for his team members. —Distribute the work between the team members, and supervise the work of his team —Responsible for developing function specifications for programs being developed by his team. —Coach & mentor team members, Assist in the development of less experienced developers. —Meet individual deadlines and contribute towards team objectives. —Communicates plan changes, specification changes to team members, other team leaders and supervisor. —Learn and become efficient with new technologies as dictated by the product strategy. To put forward improvement suggestions as any stage of the project life cycle. —Participates in setting programming standards and procedures for developed projects. —Responsible of implementing project standards and procedures and training team members to work with standard procedures and programming standards. —Prepare and present reports to management as needed —Reports progress reports to his supervisor on regular basis. —Sets monthly/Quarterly objectives for his team members. —Evaluates and monitor his team members performance and work product quality and submits performance and quality reports to his supervisor. —Reports Progress level , Problems ,Failures (inability to meet deadlines) and communications (Inter/Intra departmental ” Customers) to his supervisor —Assist in the QA process as required.
Qualifications 1.Excellent communication abilities (oral and written). 2.Problem solving. 3.Understanding of the potential of computer technology. 4.Appreciation for the businesss objectives. 5.Ability to guide people through periods of change. 6.Patience. 7.Creativity. 8.Excellent in Presentation abilities 9.Ability to Manage people 10.Work successfully in a team matrix environment 11.Continuous learner 12.Adapt to unexpected events 13.Ethical with users and Colleges 14.Analytical thinking, attention to detail and superior time-management skills are crucial
